After a long and technically challenging TBM drive, McNally/Aecon JV (MAJV) have completed tunnelling for the Port Mann Water Supply Tunnel, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Contractor Southland/Mole JV has begun boring a 4.6km drive for a new sewer tunnel in Kaneohe, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
The project, which Montreal-based SNC-Lavalin called the largest transit investment ever in Canada, will span nearly 12 miles and include 25 stations and stops that will link to existing bus and subway routes and other transit lines.
